This creates segments that can also be combined and ridden as individual sections.
The surrounding terrain largely determines the basic character of each section. Wherever possible, we deliberately build the sections with different characteristics and features, so
that a varied mix is created — interesting for mountain bikers of all levels.
In addition, certain segments can also be used well for coaching and training purposes — even though they are linear connectors and not yet a full facility like a skills center.
In short: there’s a lot we can do within the given parameters!

START PLATFORMS — SHORT BREAK, LONG IMPACT
Along the trails, three start platforms serve as central meeting points. Here you can catch your breath, grab a drink, and meet up with friends before heading on — easy to oversee and right by the trail.

ALBFLOWTRAIL

The Albflow Trail starts at the upper start platform and is divided into three segments (Fünf-Finger-Halt, Mini Forest Jump, Rollercoaster), with the Mini Forest Jump and Rollercoaster sections
can each be ridden as a loop or combined with one another. The trail will have the character of a flow trail as known from bike parks — i.e., a machine-built mountain bike line.

Five-Finger Grip (Deathgrip)
With an average gradient of only around 7%, this section is a blue flow trail. It will be possible to ride this segment without touching the brakes — hence the name “Five-Finger Grip” on the handlebar. A sequence of rollers, gentle direction changes, and small
table jumps will help control speed and boost the fun factor.
Mini Forest Jump
The Mini Forest Jump line is a blue jump line. It can be ridden as a standalone loop section of the Albflow Trail and repeated like a circuit. This section features a sequence
of small table jumps. Here you can practice proper jumping technique before stepping up to the Forest Jump line.
Rollercoaster This section is highly varied due to the terrain. The Rollercoaster segment is inspired by the iconic “Rollercoaster” trail in Finale Ligure. It weaves natural crests and ruts into the line, complemented by machine-built berms and trail features (side hits, small jumps, rollers). There’s a lot going on here — you’ll be in constant motion.

ENDURO-TRAIL

The Enduro Trail starts at the upper start platform and is divided into three segments (Sunken Lane, Forest Jump, and Enduro Dream). Overall, the Enduro Trail has a natural character. It will be built mostly by hand with minimal intervention; a digger will support individual features in selected spots.
Sunken Lane
The Sunken Lane section is shaped by several terrain cuts. The trail drops into an old sunken lane three times and climbs back out again. The entries are technically demanding — steep, with side hits that can also be used as pop-ins. Between the three transitions, the trail is fairly flat, and in places even slightly uphill — here it’s all about carrying your speed smartly.
Forest Jump
Forest Jump is a red-rated jump line that can also be ridden as a standalone loop. Several medium-sized jumps are linked in sequence and finish with a standout feature where you can get some serious airtime. This section is designed as an extension of the Sunken Lane segment.
Enduro Paradise
Enduro Paradise is, in terms of terrain, the most spectacular section of the entire Lehmgrube project. The trail follows old sunken-lane lines, winds between trees, crosses a root field, rides over multiple crests and ruts, through tight passages, and over natural edges — everything enduro riders dream of. For the brave, two more challenging B-lines will be added as well. Enduro Dream can also be ridden as a standalone loop.

How to donate

Quick and easy support — here’s how:

1) Get in touch with ussend us a message for our bank details or to arrange a personal meeting to discuss any questions and the possible scope of your support.

Board email: vorstand@mtb-karlsruhe.org

Treasurer email: kassier@mtb-karlsruhe.org

2) Donation receipt — Of course we’ll issue a donation receipt.
